Portable Auracast technology
Mobile Hearing System powered by Auri
Professional Auracast assistive listening for venues, meeting rooms and events, with no fixed installation required.
A portable Auracast system for venues without a fixed loop

Not every venue can have a fixed hearing loop. Listed buildings, temporary event spaces, multi-use meeting rooms and conference facilities often need a professional hearing access solution that can be set up in minutes and taken away when the day is done.
The Hearing System UK Mobile Hearing System is a complete, self-contained Auracast assistive listening system built around Ampetronic Auri, the same technology we install in councils, theatres and public buildings across North West England and Wales.
It delivers broadcast-quality audio directly to hearing aids, cochlear implants with Auracast capability, or the supplied receivers. No loop cable. No installation. No compromise on quality.
Who needs a portable assistive listening system?
Venues and event organisers
AGMs, public meetings, conferences, award ceremonies and any event where hearing access is a legal requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
Meeting rooms and training suites
Multi-use spaces where a fixed loop is not practical. Set up in under five minutes, pack away when done.
Listed and historic buildings
Where floor or wall installation would damage fabric or require listed building consent, the Mobile Hearing System is the compliant alternative.
How the mobile hearing system works
The system transmits audio via Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast (Auracast) from a single compact transmitter. Receivers pick up the signal anywhere in the room and deliver it directly to the listener via neckloop, headphones, or direct streaming for compatible hearing aids.
Setup takes less than five minutes. Connect the transmitter to your existing PA, microphone or laptop audio output, power on the receivers, and the system is live. No engineers. No tools. No disruption.
Portable hearing loop or mobile hearing loop? How Auracast compares
Many people searching for a portable hearing loop or a mobile hearing loop are looking for hearing access they can move between rooms or take to an event. A traditional induction loop is a fixed wire installation and is not designed to be portable. The Mobile Hearing System delivers the same accessibility outcome using Auracast broadcast audio instead of a loop cable, so it can be deployed anywhere in minutes. For permanent, certified hearing access in a single space, a fixed induction loop installation remains the right choice, and we can survey, install and certify one for you.

Compliance and IEC 60118-4
The Mobile Hearing System is an Auracast assistive listening solution. It is suitable for venues seeking to meet their obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and BS 8300. Please note that where IEC 60118-4:2018 certification is explicitly required by a contract or specification, a fixed induction loop installation is necessary. We can advise on the right solution for your compliance requirements.
